Braehead can arrange coaching for individuals, teams, clubs and groups for all levels of curlers. Adults beginners classes are regularly held and 'come and try' curling events are held twice a season to offer you the chance to try it out.
Boardwalk
If you're after some fresh air, take a stroll along our impressive riverside boardwalk. The boardwalk is dotted with benches and eating areas - perfect for a picnic on warmer days. And for kids we have a maritime playpark, complete with climbing nets, swings and a massive pirate's ship.
Plus, our viewing platform gives you stunning views of the River Clyde. From here you can see from the docks at Govan, all the way to the Renfrew Ferry on a clear day. It's a great way to relax.
ClydeBuilt Museum
ClydeBuilt is Braehead's very own maritime heritage centre. This fascinating attraction takes you on a journey through 300-years in the life of the world famous river. From the early days of the Glasgow tobacco lords, through to its shipbuilding heyday, and right up to the present day, ClydeBuilt brings history to life.
While you're there, try your hand as a 17th century trader, load your own cargo and have a go at piloting a Clyde ship in our interactive display. And don't forget to visit MV Kyles; the oldest Clyde built ship still afloat in the UK - now permanently moored on the River Clyde at Braehead.
